Telling it like it is, as always, here’s Marcus Colburn! Here’s a guy who’s knows that striving for perfection “is a work in progress, constant, like camouflage”. HOOYAH Mojo Frog! AMM
“Teammates, ”‘HOOYAH – TRAINING’ IS NEVER OVER”. Check me out using my Perfect Pushups in combination with TRX gear at my gym. I have maintained my stretch through my workouts which is so important. Also, staying ready for anything through constantly striving for “PERFECT”ion is now a way of life instead of a diet or some change that I have decided to try for awhile — only to just give up & quit after not seeing the results that I expected immediately.
Yes, TEAM, it is a work in progress: constant, like camouflage. One has to strive for Heaven always but at least we can make it to the top of Mt. Everest! We have to use all ways possible to reach the lofty goals of “PERFECTion”!
Repeat after me: HOOYAH, training is never over!”

The time has come – Who’s IN? Teammates, I’ve spent the last 8 years with my head down developing products and workout routines to help folks of all shapes, sizes and fitness levels to take control of their bodies potential. It’s time to take what we’ve learned to the next level and reach those who still question their own potential and natural born abilities – we need to offer these people more motivation to give them a little extra boost for them to take action.
It’s time to write a book.
The book we’re going to write is going to be a simple one – it’s going to focus on the waistline – turning adipose (fat) tissue into Awesome Abs, and we’re going to do it together. The three key elements are:
The goal is to create a book that inspires and encourages people to take action and find success with their bodies – after all, once they find success with their bodies, they’ll find success throughout their lives. We’re going to help people feel and look better about themselves – one teammate at a time, and I can’t think of a better team of people to help me, then all of you who have joined me over the years.
How can you help?
Submit your favorite ab exercises – I don’t care if they’re in a chair, on the floor, or in a boat with a goat!
Why help us? Because folks that want to help us are those that have learned to succeed themselves and want to share the joy of their successes with others. There’s no greater gift than helping others help themselves!
I’m on a mission – who’s with me?

Teammates, I got some good news for you: Summer is here! Now what are you going to do about it? Take (TANGO) Action (ALPHA)! Summer is always known for good times but it is also a Perfect time to reset and recharge your life. Every summer I focus on family, fun and my future…my personal future goals. The first two objectives are up to you, but I strongly suggest you weave in time for yourself and your future. No one else will look after yourself better than you…not to mention, you’re the only one who can make it happen. And to make your goals happen three things need to be in place:
Part 2: Understand the purpose of the objective.
Part 3: Find the right teammates.
What’s blasting on your iPod while you work out this summer? And what are your goals? Post them here or on the Perfect Fitness Facebook page.

Teammates, I’m cheering for the Orange but Perfect Pushup collegiate soccer player, Taylor is cheering for Spain. Here’s why he thinks Spain will finally win a World Cup:
“Spain has a reputation and expectations to finally fulfill, winning a World Cup. Unlike most teams, Spain has the mentality that possession wins the game. This old fashioned notion is very tricky to perform but the Spaniards have the ability, technique, and selfless attitude to carry out this task.
The Spaniards have been patient with their style, however they will need to press their wide backs upward to create scoring opportunities. This press leaves a counter attack that the Dutch could capitalize on; therefore, the Spaniards must only press one defensive winger at at time and shift accordingly.
I wouldn’t count Holland out of the running even though the chance is slim. We are in for a treat this World Cup cuz both sides seem adequately prepared.”
It’s all about the preparation. Thanks Taylor! Stay tuned for some Fired UP pictures from Taylor and an update on his workout techniques.

PEOPLE magazine, July 5, 2010, asked some A-listers “what infomercial product do you own”? Perfect fan Mario Lopez said, “The Perfect Pushup. But it’s not like I’m selling it.” If you’ve seen Mario in action, you’ll agree that his physique speaks for itself.
From Malibu to Main Street, we’re Fired Up that people are motivated to share their Perfect success stories! Keep ‘em coming.
Teammates, I’ll be celebrating the Glorious Fourth with my family. With four little monkeys going full speed ahead all day, I hope I’ll be up for the fireworks.
Happy Independence Day!

Congratulations to Rich Franklin on his June 12 victory over UFC champion Chuck Liddell. Despite breaking his arm early in the fight, the tenacious Franklin went on to knockout Liddell in the first round.
Franklin has been a great spokesman for the Perfect Pullup and Ab Straps, appearing in the Perfect Pullup television commercial. Everyone at Perfect Fitness wishes Franklin continued success.

“It’s what you learn after you know it all that counts.” John Wooden, legendary UCLA basketball coach.
Teammates, if the measure of a man’s life is how he’s remembered, John Wooden will not be forgotten! His quotes live on! Rest in peace Coach Wooden.

Teammates, with Memorial Day weekend coming up, I thought it would be a good time to re-introduce you to the Naval Special Warfare Foundation.
Naval Special Warfare – NSW – is Navy speak for Navy SEALs and all those that support the SEAL teams and boat units. The NSW Foundation is the non-profit that supports the SEAL families in time of need…and lately, the SEAL families have unfortunately needed a lot.
I was first introduced to the foundation when a friend, SEAL classmate and teammate, Mark Frietag, was involved in a training accident. While he and his teammates were practicing Close Quarter Combat in a “kill house” (a structure designed with bullet proof walls so SEALs can practice live fire drills in confined areas to simulate hostage rescue or bad-guy hunting), Mark was struck by a bullet that somehow weaved its way through the bulletproof wall, Mark’s body armor, and his rib cage. The bullet came to rest in Mark’s spinal column and left him paralyzed from the waist down. Though there’s some financial assistance the military offers its vets, it’s not nearly enough to cover all the expenses of this kind of challenge (note, I don’t call it a disability – knowing Mark’s can-do attitude from training, he doesn’t think of it as a disability – it’s a challenge which can be overcome!). Enter NSW Foundation: they helped Mark and his family outfit his house with wheelchair access, get the best equipment for his challenge and assist with a transition to the civilian sector.
This example is the just the tip of the iceberg on what the NSW Foundation has done and does for its family of NSW teammates that it serves. Lately, NSW Foundation has been busier than ever helping the NSW family cope with life altering injuries and loss. Most folks don’t know what SEALs do when on a mission – and that’s the way it should be – but everyone should know what the NSW Foundation does to help those after the mission. The Perfect Fitness team feels so strongly about the importance of the NSW Foundation that we donate a portion of the sale of each of our products to the NSW Foundation.
So this Memorial Day, as you take a moment to thank our troops for all they have done and are doing, don’t forget about thanking — and contributing to — organizations like the NSW Foundation whose mission is helping those after their mission is over.

According to the NSW Foundation website, “To honor and serve this community of heroes and their families, the SEAL Heritage Community Center (SHCC) is being constructed on land provided by the U.S. Navy on the Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek in Norfolk, VA.”
